Slip Lining

Super Excavators performs slip lining for municipalities as a type of trenchless rehabilitation that often allows the full structural rehabilitation of an existing pipe.

Slip lining is one of the oldest methods of trenchless rehabilitation for existing pipelines. It can repair leaks and restore structural stability in an existing pipeline. With slip lining, our experts install a smaller “carrier pipe” into a larger “host pipe,” grout the space between the two pipes and seal the ends.

We traditionally use slip lining for pipes 8 inches to 60 inches in size, but we can apply the method to other sizes too; provided we can access the pipe and have a new pipe that’s large enough or small enough to install.
